Product details

The aluminum alloy frame used in the Q-RACK outdoor exposure rack is the same as the bracket used in the Q-Lab Florida and Arizona natural outdoor exposure tests. Now you can purchase these professional exposure racks and expose them on your own site.

The durability of Q-RACK brackets has been proven through decades of harsh exposure to subtropical and desert environments. The bracket has diverse functions, is reliable, and cost-effective, and comes in a kit form that is easy to assemble.

The Q-RACK kit, accessories, and non-standard installation system can meet different application and testing requirements. Compliant with ISO, ASTM, SAE, and other international standards for outdoor testing. The Q-RACK framework can be positioned at 0 °, 5 °, 45 °, or 90 °.

Q-RACK outdoor exposure rack

There are two types of Q-RACK outdoor exposure rack kits: direct exposure and under glass exposure. Refer to LR-3001-Q-RACK manual for photos and more detailed information.

When using a direct exposure bracket, the sample is directly exposed to the environment. This is the most common testing method used to test coatings, inks, plastics, or surfaces used outdoors. Typical test samples can be easily installed on the Q-RACK direct exposure system as much as possible. Our direct exposure rack kit meets the requirements of ISO 877-2 Method A, ASTM G7, ASTM D4141, or SAE J1976. Please visit our standards page for additional information on Q-RACK system related standards or other products and services.

The glass exposure rack is mainly used for testing automotive interior materials. The sample is exposed to a special glass plate that transmits sunlight.
